Tart Parlor

Last night, Atlas members were graced with a presentation and poetry performance by Tart Parlor. Tart Parlor is a poetry collective run by and for sex workers and dedicated allies to honor sex workers' voices.

Atlas member, Shay, one of the founders of Tart Parlor, educated us on how much HIV and Sex Worker activism are intertwined. A big take away is how current legislation like the Fight Online Sex Trafficking Act and Stop Enabling Sex Trafficking Act has endangered the sex worker community and done little to stop human trafficking.
