Peace Corps 101

Former BCAP Prevention Department Intern & continuing Atlas supporter, Nico Delgado, has been serving with the Peace Corps as a Health Promoter in Peru since last August.

During his quick trip back to Colorado, he was able to take the time and educate Atlas members about what life is like in the Peace Corps. He showed us a couple of "dinámicas" (or "ice breakers") that he plays with his Peruvian youth groups, talked about day-to-day work with his counterparts, and even taught us some basic Quechuan phrases!

We are incredibly proud of Nico's important work with the Peace Corps and are so excited to continue to see him thrive! We can't wait to see you when you finish your service and tell us about ALL of your Peruvian experiences.
